EU Fulfillment (includes Ukraine)
The customs issue persists with our shipment, unfortunately. Kellie is working around the clock to try to clear the shipment in conjunction with our customs liaison and our fulfillment center. After the shipment clears, it will be en route to our fulfillment center in Germany! We will keep you updated as it progresses; we are so sorry for the delay. Believe us, we wish it would clear quicker as well.

UK (and Rest of World) Fulfillment
The items are working on making their way across the ocean, and we have been given an updated rough estimate of arrival of September 1 to our UK fulfillment center. As this changes, we will do our best to keep you updated! We are sorry that it continues to be delayed, unfortunately, every time the vessel it is on reaches a port, it seems to sit there for a while. The good news is: The next port for the vessel is Southampton, UK! Our customs agents in the UK have all the paperwork needed to clear the shipment as soon as it gets to port, it is just taking a while to make it.
(I've heard some of you may like to track it, for now, it is on a Shipping Container Vessel named "One Stork". It is set to arrive at port August 27. - Kellie)

The team over in Australia continues to work on fulfillment. They have been sending over tracking information every couple of days. Once your order ships, you should receive an email with tracking information via BackerKit within a couple of days.
We can no longer update addresses with this fulfillment center as they have confirmed the orders in their system.
US Fulfillment
We are working on getting a fulfillment timeline from the fulfillment center in the US. They are shipping out orders every day, though maybe not as quickly as we would like. You should receive an email from BackerKit with tracking information once the order has been shipped.

Fulfillment is currently happening, but is not complete yet, so do not worry if you don't have a tracking number yet. We will update here once its complete. Fulfillment News

EU Fulfillment (includes Ukraine)
The remaining items have arrived at the first port (the Netherlands) to clear customs/VAT. Our customs liaison has informed us that there were a couple of delays/issues that they are working on getting cleared now. After it clears, it will be en route to our fulfillment center in Germany! We will keep you updated as it progresses.

UK (and Rest of World) Fulfillment
The items are working on making their way across the ocean, and we have been given an updated rough estimate of arrival of August 27 to our UK fulfillment center. The orders in BackerKit won't receive tracking right away, as the fulfillment center have informed us that they won't be uploading the tracking information until the remaining orders are complete, so they can bulk upload. US Fulfillment
To start we want to say that we hear your concerns and frustrations about the status of your Kickstarter orders. We promised we'd be transparent about everything, so here's what you need to know:
Obojima is a much larger Kickstarter production than anything 1985 Games has ever done before. We ended up switching to a different shipping company than we have worked with in the past, and it has not been going well. After several hiccups in production, we finally had all of our products ready to ship. We sent everything to the shipping company, and then everything hit the fan. We wanted to be able to ship all the products to backers in one lump sum instead of having multiple items sporadically showing up. A combination of tariffs, which have made shipping in general a nightmare, and an almost complete drop-off in communication from the shipping company left us scrambling to try and get information that we could pass along to the community. This was a months long process, that involved us having to reach out for shipping info daily, only to get nothing in response. While we were told that the company would be shipping out 200-400 orders a day, we discovered that only about 40 were actually going out on a good day. Somewhere along the line during Gen Con the priority got switched to pre-orders over Kickstarter orders as well. At this point, we're stuck with the shipping company. However, we have spoken with higher ups (finally) and have managed to get everything leveled out. Expect orders to start getting shipped out again at a much better pace!
Please know that we're not trying act blameless in this situation, we've made mistakes throughout this process. However, we're also actively working hard to fix it.
We understand that some of you have lost faith in us, and feel like you don't want to support us in future projects. We're sorry that's where you're at, but please know that we haven't abandoned you, and are going to continue to work to get everyone the Obojima they deserve.

Canadian Fulfillment
Fulfillment is currently happening, and is nearly complete, save for a handful of orders! They are not complete yet, so do not worry if you don't have a tracking number yet. We will update here once its complete. Keep an eye on your email for tracking numbers -- you will receive an email with tracking information from BackerKit once your order has shipped. There was a small delay with some tracking numbers updating, don't worry, they will update very soon.

2024 Edition PDF Release
As of yesterday, all backers who purchased the original PDF of the book have now been sent the updated 2024 rule set. This came late last night in an email from backer kit, and included a single page version of the PDF, a book spread version of the PDF, and a digital island map.
We're very excited to be able to give this to the community and hope that everyone enjoys this new version.

Our US Fulfillment Center was a bit slower with fulfillment than expected the past two weeks, as GEN Con was this past weekend, and they handle fulfillment and trade show inventory for many of the companies there Keep an eye on your email for tracking numbers -- you will receive an email with tracking information from BackerKit once your order has shipped. You may receive an email from ShipStation about 3-4 days before the BackerKit notification, depending on what day your order ships.
(Note: There are about 9,000 remaining orders for Obojima that our fulfillment center needs to ship out, and we are not their only clients -- please give them some time to get this done. We hope to have them be done by mid-to-late August, but we will post an update when fulfillment is complete. Do not worry until then!)
