Dear Backers and Adventurers,
Our journey to bring the enchanting world of Obojima to life is making tremendous progress, and we have a significant milestone to celebrate - the arrival of our manufacturing copies!
Dice, Cards, and Pins, Oh My!
Our team has been hard at work to ensure that every component of Obojima is crafted to perfection. We are delighted to announce that the manufacturing copies of dice, cards, and pins have arrived and I am thrilled to share some of them with you today (even if they are just in photos for now)! These are technically the first test prints of these products and some changes will be made now that we've seen them in person. Even so, we're very happy with this first print and incredibly excited to share them with you.
Vending Machine & Spirit Dice Sets
Behold, the dice sets! These are not just crafted with precision but with the soul of Obojima. Holding the vending machine, after seeing it in 2D for so long, feels surreal. As for the dice, their intricate designs and vibrant colors echo the lush landscapes of Obojima. Dice goblin activated!
Decks of Cards
Our decks of cards are a gateway to the hidden wonders of Obojima, so we are particularly thrilled to finally hold these treasures. Although we have only received a handful of test cards, we really are happy with the quality of material and printing.
Pins to Carry The Obojima Spirit
As I am sure you can guess, Obojima is the hot topic at 1985 Games HQ. So, with these beautiful enamel pins adorning a bag and/or jacket, I could bring the Obojima spirit with me (not to mention, spark some fun conversations)! However, I guess these pins are just for our photography and whatnot, so I will have to wait for the "big order". *Sigh*.
The Next Chapter of Our Creative Journey
With the manufacturing copies in my hands, our path unfolds, deeper into the heart of creation. We'll remain vigilant in upholding the quality of these treasures, ensuring that the final products are nothing short of enchanting. (You can expect to see more test print updates in your future.)

Shipping Fiasco Solved!

Over the weekend, our team worked to identify and resolve the strange shipping fee spikes that some of our backers encountered during the survey process. We are happy to announce that we have solved the issue!!! Today, we are pleased to provide you with the simple next steps!
Do You Need To Complete Your Survey?
If you have not completed your survey, we encourage you to do so now without any concerns or issues. As a friendly reminder, please bear in mind the importance of entering your complete address to confirm an accurate shipping price. The initial price estimate displayed at the beginning of the survey is a general BackerKit calculation based on your region and in some cases is much higher than the accurate price. If your price is unchanged after you update your address, this does not signify an issue but rather confirms the correct shipping cost for your package.
Did You Already Complete Your Survey?
For those of you who have already submitted your surveys, rest assured that no shipping charges have been processed at this stage. By completing your survey, you are essentially consenting to a shipping fee that will be charged when the product is prepared for dispatch. What does this mean for you? The recent changes we've made have automatically adjusted your future charge. Therefore, there is no cause for concern. When the time comes for your card to be charged, you will be charged the appropriate amount for your package.

Understanding Shipping Estimates
After reviewing responses from our backers, we have noticed some confusion regarding the shipping costs displayed on our Kickstarter page. So we wanted to take some time to explain what those estimates are. The shipping estimates presented on our Kickstarter page are not the final shipping charges. Instead, they represent the average cost of shipping a package to your respective country. What does that mean for you? It means you can anticipate a variance of approximately plus or minus $5 in your shipping charge. Some backers may be charged slightly lower costs than anticipated, while others may experience slightly higher charges. It is impossible to provide precise figures before we receive your shipping details, so we strive to offer you the closest possible estimate.
I wanted to thank everyone for their patience and apologize for any headaches this may have caused. Now that we're wrapping up this issue you can expect more exciting updates in the near future!

Hey Everyone,
Here is a quick update on our recent shipping rate issue. Overnight, we were notified by several backers that they were experiencing significant spikes in their shipping fees on their Backerkit survey. At the moment, we're not sure what is causing this issue. However, I guarantee that we're actively working on a solution! We should have an update by Monday. For those who missed the Kickstarter campaign or wish to expand their Obojima collection, we're thrilled to announce that the Pre-Order link is now live on our Kickstarter page! Don't miss your chance to reserve your copy and additional items while supplies last. Share the link with friends and fellow adventurers who might want to join us on this fantastic journey.
DM's Bundle Upgrade: Explorer's Box
Due to popular demand from our passionate DMs, we're delighted to announce an upgrade to the DM's Bundle. In addition to the existing contents, the DM's Bundle will now include the Explorer's Box—a box designed specifically for Obojima storage and travel. Not only can you bring the wonderous lands of Obojima to your players, but you can also store Obojima in the luxury in deserves. This is of course free of charge!
FAQ Updates
We've been listening to your feedback and questions, and we're excited to announce a few updates. Here's a brief FAQ update:
A: We've decided to transition to a community voting system, allowing you, the community, to have a more direct say in the development of Obojima. We will still utilize the survey method by presenting a survey to our Backers through our various platforms. But, instead of deciding ourselves, you'll have the opportunity to vote on your favorite builds! The most popular selections will become part of the official Obojima canon!

Q: Early Bird Backers: Automatic D20 Reward
A: To show our appreciation for our Early Bird backers, we've decided to simplify the survey process for you. Our original FAQ stated that our early-bird backers will receive a question in their Backerkit relating to the early-bird D20. Now, instead of receiving a question on the survey, you will automatically receive a free D20 with your pledge if you pledged within the first 72 hours of the Obojima Kickstarter campaign. It's our way of saying thank you for your early support!

Following the end of the Kickstarter campaign, we are excited to announce that Obojima's Backer Kit will be launching on September 13th. That means all backers can expect to see an email with their Backer Kit survey between the 11th and the 13th.
As a reminder, your Backerkit survey will allow you to:
- Confirm your address (Note: Your shipping charge will drop drastically as soon as you confirm your shipping address.)
- Select your add-ons
